The first Villiersdorp community festival will be held on Saturday 29 August . 

For a wonderful day of community spirit, fun and attractions bring the whole family to Buitenkant street in and around Kosie de Wet school between 10am and 3pm to take part in sports tournaments, educational exhibitions, singing and dancing, including an open mic session for anyone to take part in.

Violence Prevention through Urban Upgrading (VPUU), together with the Theewaterskloof Municipality, the community leadership, the Villiersdorp Youth Development Centre (VYDC) and the Western Cape Government will be providing information and entertainment.

VPUU is a partnership initiative to build a safe and sustainable community in Villiersdorp.
