HOUSING DEVELOPMENT OFFICER

Salary: Post level T10: Between R222 876.00 p.a. and R289 272.00 p.a.

Responsibilities would involve the following: * Interact with the Dept. of Human Settlements * Implement housing policies as well as short and long term housing strategies * administration of title transfers * Dealing with housing problems, informal settlements and related issues * Assisting members of the public with enquiries and subsidy applications * Facilitate public meetings on housing matters * Compiling monthly reports * Assist with the allocation of low cost houses * Other duties as requested from time to time.
